Brian's Boy's

These were taken a couple of summers ago when we went to Kansas to spend some time with his kids before he went to Iraq. Tommy is the blonde one, and Lee is the one with darker brown hair.

Later that Day...

I took these after the one I took this morning.

Fishin

This is a cool picture that I took this summer of Brian and Ike fishin. I need to take more pictures of the area when it gets warm, its really pretty!

"Oh The Snow!"

This was taken this morning! Two days ago the kids were wearing shorts!

Piggy Toes!

Thank you everyone again for writing on my blog. It's been allot of fun to do this, guess it helps when my family lives so far away. This picture was taken yesterday. I just love her little feet, how they are crossed when she sleeps. Today and tonight Brian has CQ, which is a 24 hour duty at a desk at the hospital. It's usually pretty boring for him and he's so tired when he gets home after. I don't know how he does it! He says its always so spooky at night in the hospital when everyone is gone. He always says he hears strange things..lol Y'all have an awesome day. I need to do more of the boys on this. Seems like its all about Georgia!

I can smell her... How yummmmmy...

How happy you made my day seeing you in all your glory as a mother...You're tops, Korby.

Miss you so much....

Love,
Mom

Miss Chunky Monkey!

I took these today of her. She is really starting to smile allot lately, it's really cute! She also turned over in her crib twice already. She likes to go everywhere with me lately too. So I would put her in the baby holder thingy that I can strap her into and we do laundry, clean the house, lots of things. She doesn't really enjoy her car seat in the car that much though. I guess its been awhile with all this baby stuff, I'm forgetting when they do all of these things!

Blessing Day

This is our family shot for the holidays. The other one is from today at Georgia's blessing. It went well, she didn't cry at all, and Major Fowers didn't get called out to deliver a baby. So I think it went very smooth.

"I See You!"

Ike is 14 and will be in high school next year, very scary! I can remember when he was so little, like it was yesterday! Now hes taller than me, makes me feel so old! He's had such good grades this year and has been working hard in school. He was able to get into forensics this semester, but the class seems pretty disappointing. He was in Spanish last semester, but it didn't seem very challenging. He said he wants to be a zoologist or a linguist. So we'll see! The other pic is of O'mally The Alley Cat.

I promised Joni I would take a picture of her closet! She still cant fit into most of the clothes that were sent by you guys in Texas, but close. I keep trying to put her in them everyday to see if she will..lol There was a resale store that went out of business the to other day and you could take in clothes and get credit, so I was buying her little dresses. Brian would ask me, "Another One?" and I would say, "Well she might have to take a nap or something, so she needs it!" Just a little overboard I guess. Brian took the other one of her sleeping today. Shes so sweet! What I figured out though today is that she doesn't like to have pants on or socks! She'll fuss and fuss till I take them off. When she sleeps, she doesn't like blankets on her either. Crazy!

For Debbie

Deb, I thought I would take this shot of her for you since she can finally fit into this cute outfit! Wish I had one of these stores by us!! Love you guys!

"Miss Cool"

I took the first picture last night. Can't really see it very good, but I put her in one of those walkers. Granted her feet didn't come near the floor, but it worked for a minute! This one will have to wait for awhile longer...The other one I took when she was first born. She always does this with her feet, kinda like all laid back. She's so funny!

K, Don't Laugh!!

I added some pictures of some of the earings I've made so far. This is my first attempt to make ANY kind of jewelry! And your right Deb, it is a blast!

So Good Lookin!

I love to do genealogy and this is a cool picture of my grandfather. He was such a sweet man!

"I did it Joni!"

I wanted to add these pictures I took today. The first one is a charm bracelet that my "Like-A-Mom" gave me that we have been adding charms on here and there. But what is cool Joni, is that I finally figured out how to do it myself! So I went and found all the charms that I've been wanting to add and put them on... Yea (pat on the back)The other one is my Valentine's gift from Brian. He hates getting me rings, but seems to always pick out a good one. What is cool about it now is that I have a little girl to give them to now..
Thank you everyone for looking at the blog and commenting on it! It's fun to see everything you say about it! Yesterday we went to church again, we'll me and the boys and Georgia, Brian was working this weekend. I was proud that we all managed to get it together and go! I was able to talk to Major Fowers about the blessing and if he would do it for us. He was excited, but said that he was going to be on call next Sunday, but to bring her dressed to see if it will work out. So we will get her in that 30 lb dress, and if it doesn't work, then we'll try for the following two weeks. Kinda hard to work with two hospital schedules, but it will work out sooner or later. It was funny, the other day Keaton and "His Frog", the dead one, were doing something interesting. I came into his room, and he was staring at it, so I asked him what he was doing and he said, "shhh mom, were having a staring contest." I truly didn't know what to say, so I just said, "Well honey, I think the frog is going to win don't you?" He's so silly, I know he knows it dead, but he's just a silly goof ball! My newest project I think is jewelry. I have been studying how to do it for a couple months, but kinda scared to jump into it. I've been so encouraged with everything that is out there, but I finally decided to jump off last night and try something. Once I started I couldn't stop! Talk about addicting! So, well see where this goes. I've been taking apart my old stuff and redoing it, so I will have to post some pics.

Little Mama

I got this shot tonight too, finally a good one with her smiling!

Little Angel Baby

I had to post the shots I took today! Just got this in the mail, her blessing gown. It is so sweet and perfect for her!

Sweet Mickey, I miss you!

Finally I found these pictures! I was so sad because I thought I'd lost them! These are Ike and me with Mickey the last time we were around her. She always had a special place in my heart. I loved to go and she her when I would come up to stay with Joni in Dallas. I remember making her a quilt one time with fabric that Joni had given me to keep her warm in the nursing home. What was cool about that, was it was fabric that Joni originally was going to use for one for her daughter. Anyway, I know shes up in heaven with her husband and more in love than ever with him! I miss you Mickey!

These are funny pictures of Keaton when he was a baby. The first one, he has one of his rags on his head. The second one, he was enjoying his lunch a little too much!

My Soldier

This is Brian the last time he was in Iraq for 15 months with a little girl.

Mom

Mom last Easter at her house, the last time we were there in Texas.

Sisters

This is a neat picture of the me and my sisters, Monica(left), Michelle(middle) and me.

"Waaaiiitt!"

I love this picture of Scott and Landon at mom's house last Easter. Scott is so handsome, he's really growing up!

The Brat Cat

This is our fat cat "Mally" short for "O'Mally the Alley Cat." He's an interesting guy with an even interesting story. Ike and I got him from the newspaper when we lived in Austin over three years for free. When I got married we were going to be moving to a house that couldn't have animals, so I put an ad on Craigslist for someone to adopt him. A very nice single lady came and got him and I asked that if she moves that she would give him back. A year goes by and for no reason I go back on Craig's in the pet section just to look and there was an ad saying, "O'Mally needs his family in Killeen." I thought no way could this be her and it was her last attempt to get ahold of us because she was moving to New England. So we got the fat cat back. Kinda funny.

Miller Cave

This is called Miller Cave. It's here on post and Brian took the boys to check it out this summer. I was too prego to go, but they had a good time.

"Oh The Snow!"

This is the start of the last time it snowed here. The other picture is on the way to the base for the first time. There is a forest that I dont know if you can see. It's called the Mark Twain National Forrest. It's really pretty in the fall. Not a very good picture.

"Daddy's little Tucker-Wucker"

This is how Georgia liked to sleep when she first came home, right next to you. Not now though, she's already "Miss Independent." This is the cutest picture of them sleeping on our bed. I use to come in and catch them like this all the time. It's funny that she always has her arms above her head, all of my kids do that including me. Wonder where she would get that?!

A farwell to "Boots"

These are pictures of Ike's little creatures. The little one or bottom one is of "Ginseng" who we still have and the long-haired one is of the late "Boots". He just passed away the other day and so I thought I'd make a tribute to the little guy for Ike. He was so sweet to have with our family. He was named after my "Like A Mom" Joni's cat she had forever named "Boots". We were able to have him for around 3 years. Ike use to take him everywhere, stores, drive-thru's. It was always funny to see people's reactions when they figure out he has him with us. He was really laid back and loved junk food the best, but peanut butter was his favorite. So, Boots, rest in peace in our backyard at Fort Leonard Wood, you will never be forgotten, but always missed.

Keaton and I last night made his Valentine's cards for school. This is a shot of him having fun making his teachers card. He's pretty creative when it comes to making gifts. He's so cute.

Godfrey the ground hog...

This is what you would call a squirrel on steroids, no actually its a ground hog. Our first house had this little guy living in our backyard. You cant really tell, but hes pretty big. It was funny when we first moved here, it was like we would always look to see if he was out because he wouldn't come out that much. Ike wanted me to put up a live ground hog cam, but we didn't get to it.
