Another day at the beach!

Yesterday, we went to the beach by the house and the tide was way out, which was strange to see.. but what was really cool, was there were finally hundreds of whole sand dollars..they were all hiding out in the middle of where the ocean was, spitting water out so they could dig into the sand and stay wet.. it was really neat. I talked to this old fisher man out there for a bit about clamming. He was digging up these cool clams for his chowder that day.. very fun!

Spring has arrived..

Spring in Washington is beautiful so far! I can't believe how many red bud trees there have been. They are so big, much bigger than I have seen in Texas. I have planted lots of bulbs and strawberries, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see if they feel like popping up.. In april all the farmers markets come open, so I'm so excited for that! I'm make sure I take pictures of all the yummy things!

Beach Trip #2

These are shots from today when we went to the beach.. I have really enjoyed being able to go there with the family! My favorite of course is looking for shells and sand dollars. The water is still too cold to really get in yet. Today though there was horses and people flying kites.. it was neat!
